The Works commercial exterior with black vertical metal cladding, pale walls and a landscaped forecourt

A place to work and present

The Works brings warehouse, showroom and office functions together within one architectural composition. The design balances the practical character of industrial space with a welcoming frontage for visitors, giving each part of the programme a clear identity.

An industrial palette, carefully composed

Black vertical metal cladding gives the warehouse volume a strong, simple presence. Pale wall surfaces and larger metal panels define the adjoining frontage, while a glazed entrance creates a focal point between the volumes. Layered planting and low lighting soften the forecourt and establish a considered arrival.
