Pear Tree House exterior showing a single-storey home with dark vertical cladding, a low metal roof and a sheltered entrance

A calm family home

Pear Tree House is a single-storey, four-bedroom home in Whangarei. A low roof profile and an understated palette give the house a quiet presence within its planted setting. The design brings family accommodation together on one level, with a simple architectural expression suited to everyday living.

Warmth within a restrained palette

Dark vertical cladding is complemented by warm timber accents around the arrival spaces. The metal roof extends over the recessed entrance and carport, creating a sheltered approach. Fine vertical fencing and layered planting echo the facade, connecting the home with its outdoor surroundings.
